Editor-in-Chief of Aire Magazine
Who is she?
Cristina Alonso is the Editor-in-Chief of Aire, Aeroméxico’s in-flight magazine, and author of Art & Fiesta in Mexico City: An Insider’s Guide to the Best Places to Eat, Drink and Explore. She has lived in Mexico almost her entire life, except when she studied abroad in Madrid and New York.
Where does she live?
Cristina lives in the Cuauhtémoc neighborhood, next to Paseo de la Reforma. She loves that it’s a quiet, residential area, only a block or two away from the very heart of Mexico City, the Angel of Independence. It has a wide selection of great restaurants and coffee shops, especially if you’re into Asian cuisine.

Top Picks in Mexico City
“Mexico City has always been amazing, but I feel like it took a while for the rest of the world to notice, so it’s been such a thrill to watch it finally be recognized as the creative, cultural, and culinary capital it is."
“It’s so cozy and I really like the decor – especially the bar cart!”
