Who is she? Montserrat Garza Garduño is a resident chef at Cucina, with previous experience working at renowned Mexico City restaurants Pujol and Máximo Bistrot. Originally from Andalucía, Spain, Montserrat has worked in kitchens in Miami, Paris and now Mexico City working at the forefront of Cucina with chef Marco Carboni.
Where does she live? Montserrat lives and works in Roma Norte, a neighborhood full of so much history and interesting architecture. One main reason why Montserrat enjoys living in Roma is the proximity to some of the best cafes and restaurants in Mexico City. Walking in Plaza Janeiro during golden hour with her dog, Hermann the Blue Heeler, is one of her favorite things to do in the neighborhood. Montserrat also loves Roma Norte as it is very friendly towards foreigners.
